Job Description
The Manager, Digital User Experience (UX) provides leadership and tactical direction to a team of designers, content strategists, and engineers to lead the overall user experience strategy based on project experiences, learnings and works to ensure that design strategies and standards are applied consistently across all digital channels. The Manager, Digital UX is accountable for the look and feel, and overall user experience, of the products built and deployed by the Marketing Operations organization, maintaining communication guidelines, processes, resources, and governance frameworks to ensure delivery of high-quality, aligned, brand compliant communication.
Essential Functions, Roles, And Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design team to develop, inspire, and coach the team in user experience, interaction design, and visual design growth, while guiding them to create simple, usable, and accessible solutions within our technical capabilities and infrastructure.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their applicability to the organization's needs.
- Lead cross-functional service design visioning sessions to identify experience and process gaps and bring forward prioritized recommendations to address through projects.
- Drive the development and deployment of technology solutions to solve business problems.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal guidelines in all technology deployments, including data privacy and security considerations.
- Build, review, provide feedback, and approve design components, flows, strategies, and other artifacts developed by the team.
- Lead the creation of standard operating procedures and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and manage monthly performance.
- Identify, analyze, and address any bugs or issues identified as they relate to the integration between MarTech apps and Salesforce. Work with partners and vendors for implementation and resolve technical issues to coordinate resolution.
- Serve as project manager for the transformation of the ULRI website (and/or development of external facing website), acts as point person for digital agency, updates internal team members, and ensures projects are on time and on schedule.
- Implement superior information architecture to structure and organize digital interfaces.
- Ensure that high-level UX company standards are consistently applied across projects and seek to evolve design methodologies and processes with changing industry trends, tools and technologies.
- Contribute to and/or lead other department specific and cross-functional initiatives.

- Mastery of Figma and other relevant UX design tools.
- Proficient in prototyping, information architecture, and complex design system management.
- An impressive portfolio that showcases UX design skills and contributions.

Experience And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of directly related experience such as a UX Architect, UX Designer, or Product Designer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading team.
