Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to join our expanding Talent Acquisition team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic Talent Advisor, leveraging your expertise to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and cultivate robust pipelines of diverse, qualified talent across our organization. Your primary focus will be to guide hiring teams through the entire recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience while aligning with our organizational goals. This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week on site) based in San Diego, CA.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic partner to business units, aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
- Conduct full life cycle recruiting for complex and high-impact positions, managing the process from start to finish, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to thoroughly understand hiring needs, job specifications, and the overall talent landscape.
- Maintain a high level of candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process, delivering a positive candidate experience and fostering relationships that enhance our employer brand.
- Lead complex and high-impact recruitment projects, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, providing guidance on talent acquisition strategies.
- Analyze and interpret recruitment data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
- Partner with HRBPs and Compensation to maintain internal consistency and alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the recruitment team.
- Meet or exceed activity metrics and objectives as established by management.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience, training, or certifications and 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of full life cycle, corporate recruiting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Strong experience in developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives that align with organizational goals and long-term workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing recruitment processes, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and candidate experience.
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques, talent market trends, and strategies, with proficiency in utilizing social media, professional networks, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior recruitment team members and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $117,000 – $156,000
In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
