Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a dependable mid-level Materials Handler to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. They will be responsible for overseeing materials and inventory needs, while maintaining standards for safety & quality. This role will operate on a 4 day, 10 hour work week of 6:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Offload, receive, and organize incoming materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of material storage and inventory levels.
  • Issue materials to various departments as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including woodshop and metal shop, to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials safely.
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Assist in keeping the workspace organized and compliant with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material needs and updates.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related role such as inventory specialist, materials handler, or logistics coordinator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
