Director of Engineering

R&H Mechanical Holdings is seeking a Director of Engineering to join our Rader Engineering team in Eagle County, CO. We are an employee-owned company, so you would acquire stock annually, along with many other benefits.

Our geographical markets are the Vail Valley (CO), Aspen (CO), Telluride (CO), Steamboat (CO), Park City (UT), Big Sky (MT), Bozeman (MT), and Yellowstone Club (MT). We are seeking an eager individual with relevant Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering experience that can take on the role of Director of Engineering. We have a client base of architects, developers, and contractors who build predominantly high-end custom homes (10,000 square feet and more) and commercial projects in the Rocky Mountain Region. Must be authorized to work in the United States and live in our market.

Typical Responsibilities:

  1. Production of plans and specifications.
  2. Provide technical input to other projects within the firm.
  3. Manage all Rader Engineering staff.
  4. Support with transition from existing Director of Engineering to new.
  5. Business development, proposal preparations, and fee development.
  6. Typically, will be working on multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously.
  7. Create and monitor scope, schedules, and budget for projects.
  8. Interact with other disciplines as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  1. Mechanical Engineering degree.
  2. Fundamental of Engineering (FE) certificate.
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT.
  4. Possess good interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with clients, regulatory agencies, and co-workers.
