The Account Producer is a mid to senior level sales position who serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top-tier client accounts and is responsible for retention and growth. Conduct sales and marketing activities within assigned area of operation and ensure clients derive maximum value from our services. Work closely with clients to identify needs and consult on best practices for insurance and risk management solutions. The Account Executive is responsible for developing prospective accounts, preparing data for submission, developing competitive marketplace data, and delivering independent sales presentations.


The Account Producer prepares and delivers effective client presentations, including stakeholders at all levels of the organization up to C-Suite. Deliver regular status and result updates to internal and external teams. Identify new opportunities from within existing accounts. Ensure a deep enough understanding of clients’ individual experiences to avoid potential issues before they become problems. Most importantly, establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with new and existing clients within the Account Executive's territory to retain and expand their client base.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Property & Casualty Producer License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability and experience selling to all levels within the organization, including C-Suite level.
  • Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close.
  • Track record in closing large, complex deals in small and medium size businesses in various verticals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good executive presence.
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset.
  • Well-established analytical and technical ability and experiences.
  • Must be able to function effectively with little or no supervision and have excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with existing sales, non-sales, and support staff as well as carriers staff.
  • Superior sales ability required. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.
  • Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.
  • At least an intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Prepare accurate, clear and concise applications on new and renewal business.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel during the week.
