Responsibilities
The System Architect takes the lead role in designing the system and cloud architecture necessary to provide reliable, high-availability and secure services to our global customers.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture/Design/Development – Actively participates in System Architecture and development of the Qterics products. The architecture must take cyber security, data security, fault tolerance, system performance, and disaster recovery into consideration to ensure a robust and comprehensive service capability.
- AWS Cloud Architecture – Codevelops the Qterics System and AWS architecture, AWS deployment and DevOps.
- Device Agent Development – Works with the Qterics Device Agent (QDA) team with new releases and supporting our customers.
- Product Innovation – Leads the overall Qterics product vision and strategy.
- Requires leadership to create and sustain an environment of ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
- Works closely with our Product Services, Quality Assurance and Product Development teams in bringing our products and services to market in a consistent and timely fashion.
- 10+ years’ experience with AWS Cloud System Architecture.
- 7+ years’ Agile Project Management experience.
- Working knowledge of AWS system architecture, design and development, and DevOps (C, C++).
- Experience with AWS RDS and DynamoDB database architecture.
- Deep understanding and experience in Android and Linux embedded systems preferred.
- Experience developing cloud security capabilities and architecting highly secure public-facing infrastructures.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, data platforms, application development, operations and systems management.
- In-depth knowledge of computer networks used in large scale infrastructures.
- Full Stack System Architecture.
- Demonstrable experience working with external customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, enjoy working with others.
- Proven track record of accountability and ethics.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university.
- May consider years of related experience in lieu of formal education.
