Program Management Analyst

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States.

Responsible for technical documentation and providing project and portfolio management support for the organization and program. Ensure proper operation of documents and records tracking, with experience in project reporting document control. Apply knowledge of industry concepts and best practices, relying on guidelines. Duties include the organization, querying and maintenance of technical, budget, programmatic and administrative information in an information management system as well as frequent interactions with internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Program Management Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Associate degree with a minimum of seven years direct experience as a Program Analyst, a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or a combination of substantial experience and education in the analyst field is required.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior-level managers, including high-ranking military and civilian personnel in medical, health care, and technical fields.
  • Capacity to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications including the ability to prepare and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Understanding and implementation of approved security practices related to personnel and document control.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular scientific or technical field being managed as well as demonstrating proven experience in project management.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and consolidate progress reports for customers, stakeholders, and organizational leaders.
  • Ability to organize, query and maintain technical, budget, programmatic and administrative information in an information management system.
  • Capacity to create and analyze wide variety of reports to facilitate project and portfolio planning and guide programmatic decisions.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
