We are looking for a ROCKSTAR, dedicated, OSTEOPATHIC NEUROMUSCULOSKELETAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN to join our TEAM!

Duties:

You will be employed as ONMM Physician and will be assigned to round four days per week at skilled nursing facilities that are serviced by the Practice. You will generally be expected to provide direct osteopathic evaluations, manipulative medicine treatment, and joint injections. The physician should be available to answer calls at the assigned facilities between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, although longer hours may be required on occasion.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient medical history
  • Diagnoses, treats, monitors a range of acute, chronic diseases, and conditions
  • Perform physical exams with attention to peripheral nerve, muscle disorders, and nerve alignment
  • Educate patients about wellness and disease prevention
  • Order, interpret laboratory, and imaging test results
  • Perform osteopathic manipulations
  • Collaborate closely with other specialists and members of a patient’s healthcare team to provide optimal care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their medical conditions
  • Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner) to document patient encounters and manage medical records
  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment options
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to home or another healthcare facility

Skills:
- Strong clinical skills with experience in administering injections and performing medical procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to make sound clinical judgments and decisions based on patient assessments and diagnostic findings
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
