Position Overview:
The Supplier Quote and Contract Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the Resource Industries Category for Harnesses, Cables, Components, and Bus Bars. In this role, you will collaborate with a global team of commercial professionals, contributing to price negotiations, commercial contracts, and managing key deliverables. You will be responsible for optimizing supplier quotes, evaluating commodity pricing trends, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and potentially optimize supplier quotes based on price, quality, service, and other relevant factors.
- Gather and analyze data for quote packages and review bid proposals.
- Guide support staff on resolving workflow issues and supplier-related grief.
- Assist buyers and Category Managers in negotiations, renegotiations, and contract administration with suppliers.
- Monitor commodity pricing trends, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and adjusting prices as needed.
A Typical Day in the Role:
- Review and optimize supplier quotes for key factors such as price, quality, and availability.
- Collaborate with buyers and Category Managers to administer and renegotiate contracts.
- Analyze commodity pricing trends and recommend price changes based on index data.
- Interact daily with global teams through virtual and in-person meetings, working in a fast-paced office environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in analyzing financial reports and price proposals.
- Ability to evaluate suppliers and understand supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to purchasing.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $25 - $28 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
