Summary: The Director, Supply Chain shall direct and manage the Materials Management functions for Baptist Health. This individual will plan, organize, and direct activities in the areas and services of purchasing, contracting for equipment and supplies, receiving and distribution, maintenance of the Material Management systems, as well as assisting with the Value Analysis process.
Qualifications
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of healthcare supply chain experience required. Recent McKesson HEMM experience preferred.
License / Certification required: none
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of savings reporting and 3rd party analytics and benchmarking programs
- Experience with managing a large staff with varying levels of reporting relationships
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
