The DMV Music Alliance is seeking tech-savvy and enthusiastic WordPress Developers to join our team. If you’re passionate about web development and want to contribute to our mission of supporting and promoting the local music community, we’d love to have your expertise!

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and Maintain Websites: Build, update, and troubleshoot WordPress sites, including our main website, artist portals, and community resources.
• Customize Themes and Plugins: Modify and enhance themes and plugins to meet our specific needs, ensuring functionality and design align with our brand.
• Content Management: Assist in creating and managing content, including pages, posts, multimedia, and interactive elements.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor site performance, load times, and responsiveness, making necessary adjustments for optimal speed and usability.
• Ensure Security: Implement best practices for website security, including regular updates, backups, and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with content creators, the marketing team, and other volunteers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development, PHP, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience: Previous experience in WordPress site management and development is preferred. Experience with Formidable, Elementor, GIveWP, Directorist, and Buddypress helpful.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure high-quality, error-free work and maintain a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide support as needed.
