Sr. Financial Analyst
FULL-TIME Opportunity in St. Petersburg, Florida *Remote position*
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)
*Only Local Candidates Will Be Considered *
The Sr. Financial Analyst will report to the Vice President of Finance and be responsible for assisting in month end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, ad hoc reporting, analysis functions and will collaborate in certain strategic and productivity initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Assisting VP of Finance through the annual budgeting process, ensuring understanding and ownership throughout the organization
• Help manage financial performance to ensure they are meeting their annual EBITDA targets through monthly spend reviews and by developing tools and procedures that drive greater accountability and visibility throughout the organization.
• Manage the monthly close and reporting cycle with a focus on leveraging variance analysis to drive business results
• Provide analytics in support of revenue, operational and business initiatives, new contract support and ongoing business tracking and evaluation
• Perform on-going and ad hoc reporting requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or closely related

Experience:

• 5 years of experience as a Financial or Business Analyst preferably in a Financial Planning & Analysis capacity required
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in developing complex models and analytics within Microsoft Excel
• Experience in annual budget preparation for prior/current employer(s)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience Building Income Statement/Capital Expenditures portion of annual plan
• Forecasting and modeling Accounting (some, but not necessarily an expert)
• Financial reporting
• Work with large volumes of data including knowledge of Pivot tables and other Excel functions
• Able to summarize and organize data for different budgeting and reporting processes.
• A strong commitment to meeting internal and external deadlines with limited supervision
• Experience utilizing Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Experience with the following systems is preferred, but not required:

• ERP Experience: Planful is preferred for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Workday - for human resources
