Estimator / Project Manager - Structural & Miscellaneous Steel
Location : Pittsburgh, PA area
Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating, project management, and overseeing steel construction projects from initial proposal through project completion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and the internal team to coordinate project requirements and deliverables.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural and miscellaneous steel estimating and project management.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding steel construction plans.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
