About the Opportunity
Reporting to the MH&A Manager, Policy and Planning, the Consultant is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of core MHA services, standards, guidelines and best practices to improve the continuum of prevention and treatment services for individuals living with mental illness and addictions. The Consultant works to facilitate the implementation plan associated with health services planning and contributes to quality improvement initiatives, including but not limited to developing and implementing new models of service delivery and supporting workforce development initiatives.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Undergraduate degree in a health discipline or a related field (Business, Administration, Health Policy)
- Master's level preparation is an asset (in related health field, business, administration or public policy)
- 3-5 years of leadership experience with progressive accountabilities for project implementation, standards development, evaluation and adoption of best practices to deliver high quality services
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation/engagement skills.
- Understands the principles of project management/change management and demonstrated ability to create and lead complex work teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and integration of evidence-informed decision making to support the development of high-quality programs, policies and practices.
- Experience and demonstrated expertise with data management and data analysis;
- Proficient application of word processing, excel, database, PowerPoint and graphics software required
- Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or with Healthcare organizations would be considered a significant asset.
- Demonstrated experience in project management/project administration is an asset
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Full-Time Long Assignment; 75 hours biweekly
- Assignment Length Approximately 12 months
Compensation and Benefits
$37.61 - $47.01 Hourly
