Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Santa Barbara is looking for a qualified individual to join their dynamic auto team as a Warranty Administrator!

Job Description: Warranty administrators ensure the dealership is paid for warranty work by preparing, submitting and following up on claims, following up on outstanding receivables, and balancing journal ledgers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verify criteria required by factory or distributor.
  2. Keep abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
  3. Resubmit all rejected claims promptly.
  4. Assist with body shop warranty claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
  5. Reconcile all warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments.
  6. Keep track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.
  7. Maintain all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.

Job Requirements:

  1. 1+ year of Automotive warranty clerk experience required.
  2. Warranty administrators should have good computer skills, prior accounting experience, and willingness to learn.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
