We are Walker & Dunlop. We are one of the largest providers of capital to the commercial real estate industry, enabling real estate owners and operators to bring their visions of communities — where people live, work, shop, and play — to life. We are committed to creating meaningful social, environmental, and economic change in our communities. We believe seeking diverse talent and promoting the inclusion of all perspectives are more than moral imperatives – they are critical to our success and ability to innovate and grow.

Department Overview

Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales (WDIS) represents the nation’s premier multifamily owners, developers, and operators with the highest level of investment advisory service. Since 2003, the WDIS experts have built a reputation as a market leader in multifamily investment sales and surpassed $19B in annual sales volume in 2022. We work with institutional and private clients , and we are active in seniors housing & healthcare, student housing, and land sales across the country.

The Impact You Will Have

The Transaction Manager position is a critical role serving primarily the Indianapolis office but also the greater team of Walker & Dunlop’s Midwest Investment Sales operation. The Midwest team is comprised of four offices based in Indianapolis, Chicago, Grand Rapids and Columbus. Producers in these four markets act as a single team, sharing personnel resources, access to capital, execution strategies and more, and the team is economically aligned in an effort to create a true team concept. This makes the Midwest team unlike other investment sales platforms in the nation both inside and outside of Walker & Dunlop.

Monitoring and ensuring the compliance with all team deadlines as well as internal and external obligations.

Calling in appropriate internal and external resources as necessary to oversee the planning and execution of a variety of team functions such as client events, dinners, forums, etc.
