Lead Accountant

TBG | The Bachrach Group is partnered with a global oilfield services company on their search for a LEAD ACCOUNTANT . The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of accounting experience within manufacturing, heavy industrial or production environment. A bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or any related field is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Perform day-to-day full cycle accounting, including review, analysis and preparation of monthly journal entries to complete month-end close activities.
• Manage all tasks related to balance sheet account reconciliations for various entities of the organization.
• Make adjustments when necessary to correct the financial data.
• Review and complete variance analysis as well as provide explanations for variances.
• Follow US GAAP and IFRS regulations.
• Create and present financial schedules to senior leadership and external audit team.
• Prepare Fixed Asset roll-forward for various subsidiaries.
• Interact with external and internal auditors, respond to audit inquiries, assist in quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Analysis of intercompany transactions.
• At least 4+ years of accounting experience within oilfield services.
• Proficient with MS Dynamics as well as prior supervisory experience are major pluses.
• Well organized, detail‐oriented, and a self-starter with an ability to work independently is highly preferred.
• A fast learner with the ability to produce quality work products in a dynamic team environment is preferred.
• Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and Oracle.
• Theoretical and practical understanding of US GAAP regulations.
