As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you'll build industry defining reusable customer and partner facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue. The position is in Omni Tech US- Business and Chief of staff team within Walmart Global Technology. The team identifies focuses on short- and long-term technology strategy for the Walmart US business and enables convergence of strategic efforts and future direction of business programs across the enterprise.
About Team:
Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What you'll do:
- Ensures reporting of key results to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Collaborates on projects and project teams for the executive leadership by ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategies, determining key project metrics and translating project requirements into goals.
- Partners with the senior leadership on special business initiatives by understanding what business goals need to be achieved; developing solutions to help drive execution of the goals; recommending solutions to close gaps; and collaborates with vendors to leverage benchmark best practices to support recommendations and solutions.
- Drives a strategic narrative focused on key metrics engineering is influencing and controlling to track progress to drive leadership accountability and a data heavy rigor in tracking weekly progress.
- Drive horizontal interconnectedness inside the team within global tech and across product, finance, and business cross functional partner groups.
- Creates avenues for improving associate's engagement and opportunities to grow, learn and innovate.
- Manages headcount, risk assessment, cost optimization for tech leaders.
- Manages participation across global tech led initiatives.
- Developing and implementing strategies, plans, and procedures to enhance organizational performance, drive efficiency, and support overall business objectives.
- Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Managing relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Maximizing the efficiency of all business procedures.
- Building processes that meet business objectives and ensure compliance.
- Monitoring financial data and recommending solutions.
- Coordinating with the people team to ensure hiring plans meet business needs and support headcount request decisions.
- Drive agenda for leadership offsites, staff meeting, and townhall meetings.
- Track TCO by product area.
- Lead monthly Ops Reviews to drive engineering excellence and productivity.

- Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Expertise in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to manage resources effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey information clearly and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and motivate employees to achieve organizational goals.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, data analysis tools) to streamline operations.
- Aptitude for identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions swiftly and effectively.
- Capacity to align operations with the organization's long-term goals and develop strategies to support growth and efficiency.
- Meticulousness in overseeing operations to ensure accuracy and quality in all processes.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
