Job Summary:
Camillo Companies is actively seeking an Indirect Tax Senior. At this Family Office, you’ll have the chance to build your career, with the support and inclusive culture to shape your future. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in a broad range of indirect tax issues for a rapidly growing private company with a Family Office and a growing portfolio of single-family, multi-family and commercial real estate properties. This person must be exceedingly well organized, collaborative, and will continue to grow their technical knowledge in indirect tax matters.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Responsible for indirect tax planning initiatives, acting as the subject matter expert in all indirect tax matters
· Formulate strategies to minimize state income and franchise tax liabilities
· Ownership of all state compliance, reporting, and registration in new jurisdictions
· Research tax legislation, statutes, regulations and rulings and formulate responses
· Work closely with other accounting and operational areas to provide tax advice
· First point of contact with state agencies and registered agent services
· Assist in state audit controversy items, including routine sales and use tax audits
· Manage and analyze data to identify and mitigate risk areas for all state matters
· Assist in estate planning matters as it relates to state considerations
· Prepare state quarterly estimates for all companies, including trusts and individuals

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
· CPA and Masters in Tax preferred
· Property tax and sales tax experience is a plus
· 3+ years of relevant experience, real estate tax experience is a plus
