Network Technician
The Field Technology Services team is seeking someone with strong technical skills to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update software, hardware, and networking as necessary to support the Department education, programs, & operations efforts for sites and facilities.
Field Technology Specialist provides technical advice, guidance, and implementation of complex work items involving educational and Operations software products such as AZTEC, Lexis Nexis, GED Academy, Auto CAD, Teknimedia, Alexandria, Elevate and similar software packages. Provides technical support of complex work problems involving computer technology to include workstation and server hardware, software and operating systems, networking hardware, software and infrastructure, and various operating systems software. Responsibilities include independently installing, updating and management of applications and hardware at the assigned facilities.
