We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial System Analyst to join our dynamic team! This position requires a strong command of IT skills, practical expertise, and a thorough understanding of Costpoint's functional application across multiple modules and will report to the financial system manager. As the Financial System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing daily support for the Deltek ERP, focusing on Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cognos Reports.

Responsibilities

The candidate must be able to provide expertise in data visualization, dashboard creation, and report generation. Responsibilities include:

  • Write new Cognos Business Intelligence Reports in Cognos Analytics 11.x using Deltek CER and data modules after completing the report requirements assessment.
  • Edit, update, and troubleshoot existing reports.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and access.
  • Maintain and enhance security of Cognos Reports Server and reports.
  • Automate project and management reports using Cognos.
  • Create scheduled reports to support management reporting.
  • Conduct Quarterly Security Access Reviews for internal and external audits.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day system administration and support of the Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time & Expense, and Cognos Reporting systems.
  • Manage user setup, security, and other configurations for Costpoint, Deltek Time & Expense (T&E), Cognos, and supporting systems/tools.
  • Support Costpoint upgrade and collaborate with our NeoSystems hosting infrastructure team.
  • Advocate change control and issue resolution processes, including managing support tickets with Deltek and NeoSystems.
  • Work with the accounting and finance teams as subject matter lead.
  • Work closely with the Financial Systems team and consultants on upcoming financial systems projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong functional expertise and deep understanding of the Deltek Products, including Costpoint, Time & Expense across multiple modules.
  • 5+ years of functional experience administering Deltek Costpoint Core modules.
  • 3+ years BI Report writing experience with Deltek Cognos Reports.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of SQL coding for report datasets.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with and understanding of the nature of government contractors.
  • Technical experience working with Dashboards and Data Module.
  • Strong project management skills.
