Our client is dedicated to leveraging data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Global Data Analytics Manager to develop and implement our data strategy, driving data excellence and delivering value to our business partners across the globe.
The Global Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for defining and executing enterprise-wide data strategy. This role will lead a team of data professionals and contractors, overseeing data governance, architecture, and analytics initiatives to deliver meaningful insights that improve business outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate with global domain leaders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business objectives and support innovation through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Governance:
- Develop and implement global data strategy, including data architecture, governance, and processes.
- Set and enforce standards for data quality, data security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Analytics Innovation & Leadership:
- Drive innovation in data analytics, identifying new opportunities to leverage data for improved business outcomes.
- Ideate and lead strategic data initiatives to support digital transformation and enhance customer value creation.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead a global team of data professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their growth.
- Manage contractors and external resources, ensuring delivery of data projects on time and within budget.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with domain leaders across geographical regions to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
- Communicate data insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Technology & AI Utilization:
- Oversee the selection and implementation of data platforms, tools, and technologies.
- Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning as appropriate to improve data processes and analytics capabilities.
Qualitifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in data management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple contractors and teams in a global environment
- Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and data quality control
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power BI is a bonus
