We are looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate in our Sioux Falls location. As a Warehouse worker, the candidate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming orders, delivering, packing and shipping orders, as well has working with cutting belts for a variety of industries which would include using hand tools, blueprints and equipment to complete work orders. The position requires basic math skills for the ability to read and understand a tape measuring.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse:
- Receives orders accurately and promptly.
- Check both incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage by reporting any abnormalities to supervisor
- Load or unload trucks as necessary via forklift or other means
- Label and put away incoming inventory- cycle counting
- Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system and print back order and inventory stock put away list.
- Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
- Preparation of all shipping documentation.
- Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
- Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
- Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
- Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
- Understand how to cut regular and step cut rolls per cut sheet provided
- Operate large slitters to accurately slit belts to the desired width and length
- Hand slit belts as needed
- Square ends of belt and cut belts to proper length for further processing
- Inspect belts to ensure they meet quality standards
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, and time management
- Dependable and Reliable
- Ability to work independently
- Basic math skills to use, read and understand a tape measure
- On-call for weekends and willing to put in extra hours if needed
- Valid Drivers' License
- Certified on Forklift or able to obtain certification
- Basic knowledge of hand tools

- Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills are required
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use his/her hands with strength, coordination and precision and see details at close range. The employee is regularly required to bend, kneeling on multiple surfaces, reach, push, pull, climb, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and infrequently lift up to 70 pounds.
Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee will utilize all required personal protective equipment and will occasionally work in hot, somewhat noisy conditions where material particles from grinding and other operations may occasionally be present. Occasional smell of glue fumes.
