LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a HR Admin, located onsite in Greenville, South Carolina. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth HR operations, and assisting with various human resources functions including record-keeping, payroll processing, recruitment, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, payroll documentation, and benefits enrollment information.
    • Update and manage the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date.
    • Assist in preparing HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, termination letters, and performance reviews.
    • Organize and maintain employee records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Payroll & Benefits Support:
    • Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee timesheets, updating payroll changes, and resolving payroll issues.
    • Support benefits administration by assisting employees with benefits enrollment, answering benefits-related questions, and liaising with benefits providers.
    • Track and manage employee leave, such as vacation, sick leave, and FMLA, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist the HR team with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
    • Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
    • Manage the setup of new employee records in the HRIS and other company systems.
  • Employee Support & Communication:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general questions.
    • Provide administrative support for employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and company-wide events.
    • Ensure proper communication of HR policies, updates, and announcements across departments.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies.
    • Prepare and submit reports related to employment data, payroll, and benefits.
    • Support audits and compliance reviews by preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with HR software systems (HRIS, payroll systems) is a plus.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom).
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing or benefits administration.
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per hour
