LIFT TRUCK DRIVER

Shipping & Receiving: Hi-Lo Driver
Reporting Structure : Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
Based at: Mucci PAC USA
Type of Employment: Full-Time, 5-days a week; and some additional hours depending on workloadand priorities.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• When entering and exiting the cooler use caution
• It's the operator's job to maintain their load.
• It's the operator job to use every safety measure when driving through warehouse.
• Ensure FIFO stock rotation within facility and pulling orders.
• Completes daily forklift inspection for safety to minimize risks.
• Perform other duties expressly given by supervisor/management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ensure FIFO stock rotation within the facility.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas and vehicles within the facility. Sorts and stores items according to product variety
• Ensures/maintains a clean work area.
• Installs protective devices, such as bracing, padding or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Completes and record daily forklift inspection for safety and to minimize risks
• Other Duties Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Previous experience produce experience (preferred) Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English. Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems Must be able to work independently or within a team setting. Positive attitude, punctuality and willingness to grow within the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Forklift certification
• Excellent, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Have experience working in factories/warehouses.

Physical Abilities:

• Must be able to sit and work on the warehouse floor for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to deal with challenging employees and/or situations.
• Must be physically fit and able to repetitively lift heavy material (i.e., up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.)
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 52 degrees.
