About the job Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager
Salary: $105,000.00
We have partnered with an engineering design and consulting firm in the Fort Mill, SC area to provide them with a Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Shallow and deep foundation analysis, pavement design and analysis, and construction materials testing experience.
- Manage a small group of 2-4.
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Responsibilities of the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
- The Project Manager will be involved in all phases of a project including proposal preparation, managing and/or performing field engineering and testing, engineering analysis, report writing, consultation, invoice preparation, client contact, and correspondence.
- Technical analysis and reporting.
- Providing oversight of field staff.
- Providing consultation/evaluation for field-related concerns.
- Client interaction and project management duties.
- Performing field evaluations and inspections.
- Classification of soils during drilling operations.
Requirements of the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
- 5 or more years of experience is preferred.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.
Expectations include technical abilities in some or all of the following:
- Shallow and deep foundation analysis.
- Pavement design and analysis.
- Construction materials testing procedures.
- Special Inspection procedures and requirements.
Other Key Requirements:
- 100% in-office role.
- No sponsorship or Visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
