Perch Energy has an immediate opening for a Sales Operations Analyst reporting to the VP of Sales. With direct handling of the customer acquisition process and an emphasis on enrollment and contract processing, you will onboard Sales Partners and assist in the management of customer applications. Your role focuses on identifying how to improve the customer acquisition process and equip Sales Partners with the necessary tools to educate customers on the community solar product. The role covers customer enrollment, managing partner commission payments, and using data to identify sales trends across multiple partners, utility territories, and solar projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, driven, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Sales Operation Analyst - Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate Creditworthiness of Large Industrial Customers (IG): Conduct thorough analyses of customer creditworthiness, including comprehensive sizing and savings assessments, to determine eligibility for applicable community solar projects.
- Underwrite Customer Contracts: Ensure contracts comply with state, utility, and client requirements while meeting company metrics, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
- Prioritize Project Fulfillment: Manage and prioritize project needs, assigning deal flow in alignment with project commercial operation timelines to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Develop Sales Reports and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor sales performance, operational efficiencies, customer complaints, and other ad hoc requirements.
- Manage Channel Commission Processes: Oversee the processing of channel commissions, ensuring accurate and timely payments on a weekly or monthly basis as outlined in Perch agreements.
- Triage Partner Requests and Inquiries: Address incoming partner inquiries regarding commission payments, customer subscriptions, program details, and enrollment. Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Enhance Sales Operations Processes: Continuously improve existing sales operation processes, including maintaining accuracy in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for underwriting.
- Support Sales Objectives: Align with the broader goals of the company and the sales organization, contributing to the success of individual managers, the sales team, and the company as a whole.
- Assist Sales Leadership: Provide operational support to sales leaders, helping to execute sales-related tasks and streamline processes.
- Audit Customer Data: Perform audits of customer data to ensure accuracy and completeness within the CRM system.
- Handle Ad Hoc Requests: Address and complete various ad hoc requests as needed to support the business.
Requirements
- 2+ years of operations experience
- Prior enrollment or contract processing experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM a plus but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent people skills
- Proficient with Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
