SALMON Health and Retirement is seeking a Community Sales Director to oversee and manage all aspects of sales for our Premier Retirement Community. This position will be responsible for the sales efforts of a state-licensed retirement community that provides independent living.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed established weekly goals for lead contact, presentations and closings
- Connect with a sufficient volume of leads and prospects by phone/email daily to create the velocity of sales needed to meet established goals and census
- Skillfully discover the needs of prospects or their representatives to ascertain how the community will meet their needs
- Call on prospects in their homes
- Make evening or weekend appointments, when necessary
- Manage the database management system ensuring all data is captured in the system timely
- Schedule and conduct sales presentations for prospective residents and their families
- Present the community's products and services to prospective residents, families, referral sources and the local community
- Be familiar with and know how to use the various methods of closing to achieve the desired result
- Make group presentations
- Maintain knowledge of the SALMON Family Health and Retirement services and that of the competitors in order to sell and accurately explain the SALMON difference
- Maintain prospect relationships through consistent communication by phone, mail, e-mail or 1:1 contact
- Manage and update customer expectations in a positive manner to assure an informed, supportive and committed prospective base
- Ensure a smooth transition for the residents from the sales process through the move-in process
- Establish and maintain complete and accurate records of all reservations, holds and cancellations, as well as available inventory
- Responsible for securing final commitment from prospects and follow-through for all related paperwork
- Focus on vacant inventory in the individual product types
- Meet or exceed all budgeted occupancy goals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Experience in developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Serve as SALMON’s representative in the community to promote a positive image and promote interest in our various product/service offerings
- Be a person of high ethical standards and have a personal reputation that would reflect well on the organization
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, residents, families referral sources and visitors
