We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of the Lupoli Restaurant Group to lead the overall operations of our diverse restaurant portfolios at Lupoli Companies. This senior leadership role will provide strategic direction and oversee all financial activities across the restaurants, ensuring operational excellence and fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate will drive continued success and growth by optimizing performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering a culture of collaboration to achieve long-term organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the restaurant group, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall mission and goals.
  • Lead the development and execution of business strategies aimed at improving profitability, optimizing operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction across all restaurants.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth initiatives and innovative operational practices.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations of all restaurants, ensuring high standards of service, product quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage all back-of-the-house (BOH) operations, including kitchen management, food preparation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage front-of-the-house (FOH) operations to ensure exceptional service delivery, guest relations, and overall dining experience
  • Manage staff training and development programs, ensuring continuous progress to maintain the highest level of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee menu creation, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure offerings align with brand positioning and guest expectations.
  • Direct the selection and creation of liquor and wine lists, ensuring the beverage program complements the menu and enhances the overall dining experience.

Financial Management

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability across all restaurants.
  • Conduct real-time product cost analysis, revenue forecasting, and labor management to ensure financial transparency and operational efficiency.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the financial health of the restaurant portfolio and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and performance enhancements.

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Directly supervise restaurant leadership teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement across all restaurants.
  • Manage staffing needs, recruitment, training, and professional development to ensure the team meets organizational goals.

Collaboration & Marketing

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase restaurant visibility and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to optimize event and catering opportunities within the restaurant portfolio.

Guest Experience & Quality Control

  • Ensure the delivery of an outstanding guest experience through continuous evaluation and improvement of service standards.
  • Maintain consistent and market-appropriate product offerings across all locations, in line with the company's brand and quality expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • 15-20 years of senior management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience overseeing multi-unit restaurant operations.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, expense management, and revenue optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Toast, OpenTable, Restaurant 365 and Paylocity payroll, or equivalent systems.
