( (The Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) is looking for a motivated candidate to join a team that provides services to families and individuals who are on the Housing Choice Voucher Program and working toward their individual economic self-sufficiency goals. The qualified candidate will coordinate services through the Family Self-Sufficiency Program. HACA has been a leader in affordable housing in the City of Austin for more than 85 years. In partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, local government entities, and numerous non-profit agencies, HACA provides access to safe, stable housing to over 20,000 individuals. ( (What you will do in this position:){calibri=""} ){new="" roman="" times=""}){calibri=""} ){new="" roman="" times=""}Develop and deliver a broad range of service coordination for Housing Choice Voucher participants within the Housing Authority's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) programPerform a variety of tasks involving case management, planning, implementing and monitoring activities, including documenting and reporting program resultsRecruit potential FSS participants with orientation sessionsProcess resident FSS applications, screen applicants, determine eligibility, and enroll participantsCoordinate services with community partners and provide necessary case management for program successProvide guidance and support to participants and monitor family compliance with participation contractPerform timely and accurate data entry including case notes, and maintain organized client records in the digital file storage systemAssist with planning and participate in workshops, webinars, trainings for FSS participants, and the annual ceremony to honor FSS graduatesMaintain contact and collaborate with public and private community agencies that provide services and support to FSS program participantsProvide financial supports to FSS participants through procurement system, using various funding sources to aid in the achievement of their individual FSS goalsTrack changes in FSS participants' income and monitor escrow accrual and make adjustments as necessaryPromptly respond to participant and community partner inquiries via phone or email to maintain excellent working relationships( (More about this position: ( (Qualified candidates must possess:){calibri=""} ){new="" roman="" times=""}){calibri=""} ){new="" roman="" times=""}Bachelor's degree in social science or business from a four-year college or university; ORFour years related experience and/or training; OREquivalent combination of education and experience .Preferred candidates will also possess the following skills and abilities:((Ability to provide compassionate and professional customer s ){calibri=""}){new="" roman="" times=""}
