Network Engineer- 100% Remote

Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking a Network Engineer for a remote position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. This person design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot networs
• Design and support network systems and infrastructure
• Configure and operate routers and switches, also some wireless involved as well
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis

• Ability to work a remote, contract role
• Routing, switching, firewall experience- Cisco, BGP, OSPF, Meraki, etc
• Network support and troubleshooting experience for a large network with many users/customers
• Firewall experience- configuration, troubleshooting, policies, upgrades, etc.
• Experience troubleshooting network tickets and other day to day tasks
• Any cloud networking/automation experience is a plus
