Private Homebuilder in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Director with extensive knowledge and experience in the Phoenix home building arena. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow and impact the Division’ Sales and Marketing department. The role is responsible for the overall performance of a dynamic sales team, focusing on recruiting and coaching, as well as, driving the division’s marketing strategies and customer centric culture. We are poised for growth in Phoenix market and reward our key players.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Recruit, evaluate, train, develop, and retain a productive and highly engaged sales team.
- Own, develop, and lead all aspects the sales team including strategy, product knowledge, personnel development, customer satisfaction, sales production, reporting, etc.
- Ensure new homes are sold at the established sales price and velocity with high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
- Effectively resolve customer complaints
Marketing:
- Develop, and maintain Division product offerings and Inclusions through monthly and quarterly competitive market research.
- Work with Vendors to create advertising content, producing A+ visuals, including but not limited to drone videos, customer testimonials, display ads, promotional graphics, home, and community photos/videos.
- Provide strategic direction on paid and organic advertising.
- Oversee the Division website pages, implementing SEO strategies and best practices with the goal of increased Customer engagement.
- Implement creative digital and traditional marketing strategies in support of New Communities, Models and Sales Centers. Including Grand Opening events, Digital campaigns, Sales Office build outs, Collateral development, etc.
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on marketing opportunities.
- Promote and reinforce company expectations for brand, culture, and performance.
Collaborate :
- Broker of Record with listing Communities on MLS.
- Work with Corporate Retail Department on rolling out new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Work with Area VP and VP Land to identify new markets and launch new communities.
- Supervise and motivate Sales department staff, Division Online Sales Coordinator, and Selections Coordinator.
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled at Sales Training and Motivation.
- Analytical and innovative in using data to create successful strategies and programs.
- Project-oriented and well organized with attention to detail.
- Expert collaborator, communicator and change agent.
- Understands market and industry trends.
- Driven to push sales and marketing efforts to successful closure.
- Expert in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and social media
- Experience with web design concepts, Graphics and Video editing, and Adobe Suite.
Experience/Education:
- 4+ years prior experience in New Home Sales and Marketing at Director level position in the Phoenix Market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to resolve customer issues and negotiate appropriate outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Google Analytics Certification preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Some travel required to our model homes/communities; must own or lease a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license with insurance coverage.
