Role : Ergonomics Engineer
Location : Fremont, CA
Minimum 3 years related experience in a technology-based industry, where advanced manufacturing techniques are utilized.
CATIA/3DX experience using DELMIA simulation software and Digital Human Modeling (DHM)
AutoCAD and SolidWorks or advance computer skills
Working knowledge of ISO Ergonomic standards
Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint.
High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills-ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Lead engineering reviews utilizing Virtual Digital Human Model (DHM) Simulations to ensure technical solutions are understood and acceptable for implementation
Lead EHS in Design for EHS integration into product design and factory development
Perform equipment design reviews and provide design guidance to vendors.
Work with cross functional teams such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, to evaluate new vehicle / product/ and factory designs and ensure the Ergonomics requirements are implemented.
Perform ergonomic analysis & evaluation, interpret specifications and guidelines, and provide technical recommendations supported by objective findings
Train and mentor others in ergonomics engineering and work system design
Perform process analysis of existing work content to solicit feedback to design out legacy issues
Create digital standards and targets to ensure best ergonomics work-practices are part of the design
Expert in NIOSH lifting Equation, Energy Expenditure analysis, 3DSSPP, RULA, REBA, Biomechanical Model, Fatigue Analysis, Push Pull Carry Tables, Anthropometric charts, Duty Cycle Equation, Strain Index, Force Exertion Calculator, other Ergonomic Evaluations tools.
