About the role

We are searching for a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Director for our US Region, which currently has a revenue of around 25M, growing to 100M in the next few years. We are a fast-growing technology business serving large (international) OEMs in the Semiconductor, Industrial and Medical space, with a broad range of highly engineered electronic and electrical products.

In this role you will lead the financial organization to stay in control to accommodate this growth plan. You will co-create the Region's Strategy and make sound investment decisions to increase the company’s portfolio, participate in projects aimed at innovating our processes, and preparing monthly reports to shape our financial narrative.

This is a mostly on-site role, expected to be in the office at least 4 days a week. To fill this position, you must be an independent individual who is motivated and passionate about technology and finances. This position will be a key player in Prodrive Technologies' success!

Key Responsibilities

  1. Take the lead in preparing and analyzing financials for monthly and quarterly management reports, including business cases, multi-year planning, monitoring budgets, and executing financial business.
  2. Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS).
  4. Offer advice to the Group CFO and CEO regarding spending and budget questions.
  5. Be the first point of contact for accounting audits on the US-based companies.
  6. Prepare and outline complex models into simple terms that translate to executable action plans across the functions.
  7. Monitor the performance of investments including creating reports.
  8. Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment or spending decisions.
  9. Have a strong understanding of fiscal policy and investment regulations.
  10. Hire and oversee employees in the finance and administration teams, including giving directions and delivering periodical evaluations.
  11. The role is located in the Boston Area and requires 80% on-site presence.
  12. Additional responsibilities as needed.
