Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dedicated team and contribute to a supportive and innovative legal practice focused on helping clients navigate complex family law issues. The successful candidate will work directly with the firm's leadership, legal team, and administrative staff to provide compassionate and effective legal representation. Duties:

  • Provide competent legal services, including legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and status updates.
  • Oversee and analyze discovery, develop case strategies, and represent clients with complex family law matters.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
  • Record time and client interactions in the firm's case management system.
  • Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff while ensuring timely and professional work completion.
  • Prepare and mentor associates for cases requiring a second chair.
  • Manage assigned caseload, ensuring progress through key milestones.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure efficient daily operations within the legal team.
  • Assist in guiding, training, and mentoring junior attorneys and contract attorneys.
  • Recommend and develop policies, procedures, templates, and checklists to streamline processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with a focus on keeping clients informed and involved.
  • Ability to efficiently track time and record case management interactions.
  • Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively while maintaining responsibility for case outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant state.

Certifications:
