Salary range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00
Key Responsibilities
- 24/7 availability to respond to critical airport operational needs
- Manage, direct, assign, and support facility maintenance personnel to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Lead safety committee meetings and daily safety briefs
- Assist with or issue daily orders for operations and maintenance
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operations and maintenance inspections are completed within given time constraints
- Work closely with the local Operations Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and General Manager to research problems and communicate necessary information
- Manage software database to ensure work orders and tasks are completed and closed in a timely manner; utilize Microsoft Excel to the same end
- Possess strong knowledge and ability regarding the operations of pumps, valves, fittings, wiring, conduit, and tank gauging equipment
- Respond to and direct emergency and spill response activities
- Represent the Company in a positive manner, modeling ethical business behavior and integrity
- Review records and reports to ascertain data required for planning department operations, coordinate equipment service with operations and scheduling
- Assure adherence to safety policies and report all accidents and injuries, investigating ways to prevent re-occurrence
- Meet Company's attendance and code of conduct standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of all aspects of equipment used in the aviation industry
- A. or B.S. from a four-year college or university or two to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Ability to write routine reports
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to apply basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, discounts, and interest
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard maintenance objectives to maximize reliability and minimize costs
- Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
- Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required
- Prior management, supervisory, or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable climbing stairs
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs Seal
- Report any significant deficiency in products, materials, and documents
- Suggest improvements to working practices, especially those relating to safety and security

The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, high voltages, and high hydraulic/pneumatic pressures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with arms, climb or balance; and talk or hear.
The individual must also be able to open and close large valves on 16" product delivery pipelines quickly. Opening and closing these valves involves twisting and pulling motions and sometimes considerable physical exertion.
Other tasks include digging and shoveling, such as snow removal around equipment and office. Employee may also engage in debris removal which involves lifting, bending, and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs.
