We are actively seeking a Business Analyst to join our Business Analytics team. This position is based at our Store Support Center located in Park City, Utah.

THE POSITION
As Business Analyst, you will leverage Event Network data to identify critical business-driving insights. You will work with business leaders across the organization to understand challenges and opportunities, and then design and build analyses, models, and reports to drive results. You’ll be a member of an Analytics team that is intensely curious, collaborative, loves building something new and better, and is determined to increase the ROI of Event Network data.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design ad hoc analysis to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and enhance critical decision-making.
- Analyze complex data sets, structured and unstructured, and use predictive modeling techniques that provide insights for forecasting, store operations, and purchasing teams.
- Design Power BI dashboards and Excel reports to highlight what’s most critical to drive the business.
Skills / Qualifications:
- 5+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Advanced degree in economics, business analytics, statistics, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated success in applying predictive modeling techniques outside an academic setting.
- Expert in Excel.
- Advanced in SQL, SSRS, R, Python, or comparable analytic tools.
- Proficient in Power BI or comparable data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to proactively enhance processes, tools, and analytics.
- Track record of preparing high quality, accurate deliverables.
- Proven ability to translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analysis design and translate data into insights and recommendations.
- Deep intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
