Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Strong in Java; should be able to code in Scala.
2. Experience in working with Unix commands.
3. Expertise working in Hive, Pig, HDFS, FLUME, SQOOP, and MapReduce.
4. Expert in creating Hive UDF.
5. Experience in debugging and solving problems that occur in the ecosystem.
6. Experience scripting for automation (Bash script).
7. Strong understanding of Hadoop Architecture using Cloudera Manager.
8. Understanding of Hadoop setup, configuration, and management of security for Hadoop clusters using Kerberos and integration with LDAP/AD at an Enterprise level.
9. Experience in Java development projects.
10. Experience working in Agile methodology.
11. Experience in automation using macros and other possible scripts.
