This role reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Accounting.Responsibilities:Identify and implement process improvementsPerform analysis over specific balance sheet reserve accountsSupport oversight of the Corporate balance sheet by facilitating the review of reconciliations and holding monthly meetings with other accounting departments and sectorsEstablish and maintain policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsCollaborate with business partners for an accurate and successful month-end closeMonthly accounting close activities, including journal entriesEnsure balance sheet reconciliations are timely, clear, and accurateAssist in annual audit by providing requested reports and schedulesProvide ad-hoc reports as requested by managementRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA/CPA Candidate3 - 5+ years of accounting/finance experience (public accounting and/or industry)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsSolid understanding of IFRS and US GAAPPrioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentMS Office proficiencyDetail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Microsoft Power Platform / process automation experienceSAP & Hyperion/Essbase experience2+ years Public Accounting experienceMS in AccountingExperience with SOX compliance testing & internal controlsExperience with a large company (> $3 billion sales preferred)Apply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Group is an equal opportunity employer.
