ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer in our Norfolk, VA location.

Responsibilities:

  • Building Micro Frontend: Developing user interfaces for web applications using React.js and Angular and its ecosystem, including components, props, and state management.
  • Component Development: Creating reusable and modular UI components to ensure consistency and efficiency in development.
  • Build Microservices: Designing and developing microservices using Java/Python and Spring/Spring Boot for automation workflow integrations.
  • Code Reviews and Collaboration: Participating in code reviews, collaborating with other developers and designers to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  • ServiceNow Service Catalog Development: Designing and configuring Service Catalog items and workflows to automate service requests, approvals, and fulfillment processes for IT services.
  • Scripting and Coding: Writing server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript, GlideScript to implement business logic, data validation, and user interactions.
  • Change Management: Following change management processes and procedures for implementing and deploying changes to ServiceNow Configurations and applications.
  • Approval Workflows: Designing and configuring approval workflows within ServiceNow to streamline and automate approval processes for various types of service requests.
  • Integration Development: Integrating ServiceNow with internal/external systems using APIs, RESTful interfaces to exchange data.
  • Incident Management: Implementing and configuring Incident management process within ServiceNow to facilitate the resolution of IT issues.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Creating custom reports and performance analytics within ServiceNow to monitor and track requests.
  • Workflow Automation: Developing and configuring automated workflows and business rules within ServiceNow to streamline approval processes, notifications, and task assignments across various teams.
  • Release Deployment: Following change management processes and procedures for deploying ServiceNow configurations across development, testing, and production environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; JEE design; Websphere Application Server; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; SQL Data Store – Oracle; Service Now Catalog development; Service Now flow designer.
