POSITION SUMMARY
The Referral Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a referral program designed to assist individuals and families who were impacted by the Red Hill water crisis. Under the guidance of the Referral Manager, the participant engagement staff will connect individuals with essential health services, facilitate referrals, and promote preventive care initiatives, all while providing educational resources related to the community's exposure to fuel-contaminated water. The Referral Manager reports to the Operations Manager of the Registry and coordinates their efforts with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors, across the entire organization, as well as with external resource partners.
Location : 4 days at Gold Bond Building (677 Ala Moana Blvd. Honolulu, HI 96713) and 1 day at UH Manoa
Hours: Usual hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours may be flexed and duties may require extended hours, especially when networking with global contacts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or post-secondary education in healthcare or social work related field from an appropriately accredited institution.
- At least two years of experience in medical or social services referrals (or other related participant support functions).
- Experience using various computer software applications, such as Office 365 (MS Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.), and software to clean and analyze data.
