My client, a leading global macro hedge fund, seeking to expand its New York office, is looking to hire an end user support engineer with strong Powershell skills.
The successful individual will have experience supporting VIP users, including Portfolio Managers and Traders within a financial services environment, alongside have experience leading infrastructure projects.
This is the first hire within the infrastructure engineering team in New York, with the opportunity to help build this out as they continue to grow.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience working within a financial services environment supporting users. You will develop and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the trading platforms, including network, storage, and compute resources. In addition, you will maintain the health of the infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
