Junior UI Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a UI Developer to join our team! You will develop and implement unique websites using our web-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Implement UI Designs:
  Create, and modify websites by converting wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups from the UI/UX Designer into fully functional and responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with Designers and Developers:
  Work closely with the UI/UX Designer and other developers to ensure that the final user interface meets design specifications and is consistent with the customer's user experience vision.
• Implement e-commerce and marketing websites:
  Implement web sites by analyzing user needs, converting written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats and configuring the web applications.
• Ensure Cross-Browser Compatibility:
  Test and optimize web pages across various browsers and devices to ensure that interfaces work consistently and responsively.
• Follow Front-End Best Practices:
  Learn and apply best practices for clean, maintainable front-end code, including proper structuring, naming conventions, and commenting.
• Assist in Debugging and Troubleshooting:
  Identify and fix front-end bugs and issues with layout, styling, or functionality, ensuring that the user interface is user-friendly and performs well.
• Optimize for Performance and Accessibility:
  Implement UI components that are optimized for speed, SEO, and accessibility, ensuring that users across all platforms can effectively interact with the application.
• Stay Up to Date with Front-End Technologies:
  Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and trends to improve development practices.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Front-End Technologies:
  HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript: Knowledge of how to structure web pages and implement dynamic functionality.
  CSS Frameworks: Familiarity with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of:
• Experience with Version Control:
  Basic understanding of Git or another version control system for collaborating on code with other developers.
• Responsive and Mobile-First Design Knowledge:
  Understanding of how to make interfaces responsive to different screen sizes and devices.
• Basic Understanding of JavaScript Frameworks:
  Some exposure to front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular, with a willingness to learn them in greater depth as the role progresses.
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong eye for detail in ensuring that the user interface looks and functions as designed, with pixel-perfect precision.
• Eagerness to Learn:
  A self-starter who is open to learning new technologies and improving their front-end development skills.
• Good Communication Skills:
  Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with designers, developers, and customers.
• Basic Debugging Skills:
  Ability to debug simple front-end issues using browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, Firefox Developer Edition, etc.).
