What’s the role?

This position will be responsible to oversee all sales activities and account development within the assigned region. The ideal candidate has to manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

What you’ll do as our Area Manager?

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, increasing their use of the line of credit, identifying and mitigating account risk and collections pre and post default.
  • Grow the portfolio by collecting new dealer applications, including timely follow up on new leads and referrals.
  • Achieve goals and performance targets set by the company through daily production and activities with calls and visits to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and maximize profitability through prudent account management, controlled growth, and risk mitigation.
  • Educate customers on desired account and audit performance, self-service options, and best practices.
  • Collect and analyze customer financial information and various internal reports to assess dealer performance.
  • Support the Risk department with post and pre-default risk mitigation.
  • Document notes and all activities and client interactions through various company CRMs as required.
  • Create synergies throughout all Hankey Group companies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualities we look for in our Area Manager

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
  • Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients and collaborate with internal team members
  • Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and collection skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections required
  • Travel: Greater than 25% with some overnight travel required
  • Valid driver’s license required for this position

Pay Rate:

  • Base pay of $50,000 per year
  • Guaranteed Bonus Income $2,000 a month for 4 months
  • Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program average of $450 monthly
  • Average rep earning after 1 year - $114,764
  • No limit on commissions
