BUYER
Location: CHARLOTTE, NC area
Work Hours: Monday- Friday, Day Shift
Pay Rate: $50K-60K annually!

Our client is an international chemical manufacturer that prides itself on the quality and positive impact of their products. They have facilities across the U.S. and are seeking a BUYER to join their time!
This is a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity, with a salary rate ranging between $50K-60K
The BUYER manages vendor relationships, coordinates deliveries, ensures timely procurement, oversees contracts, monitors inventory, and works with vendors and Accounting to streamline processes.
JOB DUTIES:
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers via phone and email to ensure timely receipt of supplies and raw materials.
- Coordinate deliveries, including managing inbound raw material logs and addressing emergency requests for changes.
- Research pricing and provide feedback to relevant departments and the Purchasing Manager.
- Process purchase order and requisition forms.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to confirm receipt of ordered supplies and proper handling of paperwork.
- Identify opportunities to improve the sourcing process for cost savings and avoidance.
- Respond promptly to any service concerns and facilitate measurable improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports.
- Process shipment paperwork and submit it to the Accounting Department.
- Evaluate raw material inventory levels daily and generate daily, weekly, and monthly supply reports.
- Assist with projects focused on materials and purchasing process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years in supply chain/materials management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management.

- M-F, 8 AM-5 PM
