DESCRIPTION As a Financial Analyst, Plant Performance at our Oak Creek Liquid and Resin plant, you will play an important role in the Operations Accounting team within our Global Business Finance Support (GBFS) organization. This role goes beyond numbers-it's about becoming a strategic partner and a leader within the plant's leadership team. You will shape and influence key financial decisions that drive operational excellence and long-term success. You will report to the Operations Accounting Manager. You will be onsite five days a week at the Oak Creek, Wisconsin manufacturing plant with periodic travel to our GBFS headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with plant leadership to develop and implement performance improvement plans that enhance productivity and optimize costs. Your insights will guide critical decisions and foster a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence. 2. Leadership in Financial Planning: Lead and coordinate the plant-wide budget process, working across all departments to set ambitious yet achievable productivity and cost-saving targets. Your leadership will ensure that financial goals are not only met but exceeded. 3. Insightful Analytics: Utilize detailed and forward-thinking analytics to identify key areas for financial improvement. Provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and lead to tangible results in cost control and operational efficiency. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning, to align financial strategies with broader business objectives. Ensure seamless communication and alignment across the plant and with business unit finance. 5. Capital Investment Strategy: Partner with the plant leadership team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for capital spending. Lead efforts to prioritize critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the plant's strategic goals. 6. Post-Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough post-completion evaluations of significant investments to ensure financial and operational objectives are met, and lessons learned are integrated into future projects. 7. Inventory Optimization: Take a leadership role in optimizing inventory health across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Qualifications 8. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial support within a manufacturing environment. A proven track record of influencing financial results and leading cross-functional teams is essential. 9. Travel 2-3 times per year to the Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania location.
