At PGE, our work involves dreaming about, planning for, and realizing a smarter, cleaner, more enduring Oregon neighborhood. Its core to our DNA and we haven’t stopped since we started in 1888. We energize lives, strengthen communities and drive advancements in energy that promote social, economic and environmental progress. We’re always on the lookout for people passionate about leading and being a part of teams that are advancing innovative clean energy solutions that are also affordable and accessible to all.
Summary
The Advanced Energy Delivery Technology Solutions (AEDTS) team at Portland General Electric plays a crucial role in advancing our clean energy future through smart grid technology. We operate in two key areas:
1. Horizontal: Serving enterprise-wide needs with AWS Cloud Data Lake, API management, data science, applications, and data products.
2. Vertical: Supporting specific AED applications like the Outage Management System (OMS) and ARCOS Callout System.
This dual approach enables the team to drive PGE's goals of decarbonization, electrification, and operational efficiency across the organization while also maintaining critical systems for reliable service delivery.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve in the “horizontal” space as the primary liaison between business users and the technical team. This role involves shaping the data products to meet business needs, translating business requirements into user stories, and prioritizing these stories for implementation. The Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that the final product aligns with business objectives and user expectations.
We're hiring for a position open to both staff business systems analyst and business systems analyst candidates. The level will be determined based on the successful applicant's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated skills during the interview process.
