Job Description

Job Title: Java Automation Tester
Location: Bay Area, CA
Duration: Contract

Job Responsibilities:

1. Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in Test Automation with hands-on experience in automation tools such as Selenium and Web Services.
2. Experience in data-driven and keyword-driven automation.
3. Proficient in Core Java.
4. Assist in ongoing process improvement to ensure effective and efficient test planning, execution, and reporting.
5. Hands-on experience in building automation scripts, debugging, execution, results analysis, and defect reporting.
6. Collaborate with peer discipline leads in Development and QA.
7. Experience with BDD tools like JBehave or Cucumber.
8. Experience in database testing.
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
10. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are met; mentor junior engineers.
11. Contribute to the design and architecture of automation projects and promote QA productivity through automation and best practices.

Added Advantages:

1. Experience in airlines or e-commerce automation testing is a plus.
2. Experience with ReSTful/SOAP Web services and Groovy is a plus.
3. Experience with CI tools like Jenkins is a plus.
