The Senior Manager, Content Marketing position will report to the Head of Brand and Content.

As the Senior Manager, Content Marketing, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Earnest's mission, key performance indicators (KPIs), and editorial narratives.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, brand, design, and PR teams to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across formats such as blog articles, case studies, social media, and video.
  • Manage a team of freelance writers, and partner with designers to bring content to life across channels.
  • Optimize content for SEO, organic growth, and brand awareness, while refining strategies based on performance metrics.

  • Create compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and support Earnest's business goals.

About You:

  • 6+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on strategy and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of published work.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into approachable, engaging content for a consumer audience.
  • Experience working with designers to create content that is visually compelling and aligned with brand standards.
  • Demonstrated success in applying data to improve content performance.
  • Social media experience, including managing and creating posts for platforms, in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Willingness to travel to the Oakland office monthly to collaborate with other Earnies.
