Private Equity Analyst

H&P is working with an established tech PE firm, looking for an Analyst to join its Sourcing team. They'll be responsible for originating new investment opportunities and acquisitions for the firms portfolio companies. This role offers junior investment professionals exposure to growth equity, live deal participation and direct engagement with entrepreneurs.

Role Overview:

• Identify and engage CEOs of software companies aligned with firm’s investment criteria.
• Manage relationships with 1,000+ investment targets and apply investment judgment to prioritize resources.
• Present new deal opportunities to senior leadership biweekly.
• Identify M&A targets for portfolio companies and contribute to M&A strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, investing, business development, sales, or deal origination preferred.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
